Since 2012, Carrie has owned and operated Richmond Creative Counseling, LLC, a large private mixed-specialty group behavioral healthcare practice in the heart of Richmond, VA. She has experienced the many highs and lows of business ownership and currently employs more than 80 staff. Carrie obtained her Bachelor’s degree from The University of the South- Sewanee in Psychology and her Master’s in Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. She obtained her MBA at The College of William & Mary in 2022. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Carrie brings expertise in the areas of healthcare, personal blocks to leadership, and strategies for moving through challenges to achieve goals. With over 18 years of experience in corporate healthcare and hospital systems, Laura knows how to effectively navigate the complexities of competing stakeholders, data analysis, and systems change. She has managed both small and large medical practices and is an experienced recruiter, business analyst, and organizational problem solver. She has assisted in employee recruitment, retention, and both the creation and dissolution of large scale divisions. Prior to entering the healthcare realm, Laura obtained years of managerial and organizational experience in the food and beverage industry, managing and operating multiple franchise businesses around the Richmond area. Laura obtained her Bachelor’s degree and her MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Laura is especially passionate about assisting professionals in developing processes for building and sustaining a more efficient business.
